Flower Box began with a simple idea — that a thoughtfully arranged bouquet shouldn't be a once-a-year extravagance, but a small ritual; something that lives on a kitchen counter, marks an apology, blesses a birthday, dignifies a goodbye.
From our studio in Walvis Bay we hand-tie every order ourselves, sourcing the freshest blooms we can find and finishing each piece with intention.
— with care, the Flower Box team

Pick a piece from the collection, or let us design something specific to the day. WhatsApp is the fastest way to get a quote and confirm a date.
We work across the full life of an occasion — from a single bouquet for a Tuesday apology to the full floral programme of a wedding weekend. Here's how we approach each.
Our wedding work is intentionally bespoke. We don't sell wedding "packages" — we sit with you, look at your venue, look at your dress, look at your light, and design florals that belong to your day specifically.
From bridal bouquet to bridesmaids' posies, from a ceremony arch to the long, low garlands of a reception table — we'll quote everything in a single, considered proposal.
The other half of the studio. We handle sympathy work with discretion and care — confirming details quietly by phone, delivering on the day requested, and leaving you to the harder business of grief.
From a small condolence box sent privately to a home, to a casket spray for a service, we'll work with the family or with whoever is co-ordinating, and we'll make sure it's right.
We hold standing weekly accounts with hotels, restaurants, and offices around Walvis Bay, refreshing arrangements on a regular schedule. We also build florals for one-off events — product launches, gala dinners, conference branding, store openings.
If you're running a brand, we'll build to your palette and the spaces you actually use. We can also handle event florals turn-key, including delivery, setup, and end-of-day breakdown.
A first date, a tenth anniversary, a Valentine's Day where this year is different. We do romantic gestures in every scale — from a single rose hand-delivered, to a hundred long-stem stems hand-tied in our signature paper.
For Valentine's, anniversaries, and proposal florals, we suggest ordering 48 hours ahead. Same-day is sometimes possible — call us.
The most under-rated reason to send flowers. A Wednesday. A bad week. A friend who's been quiet. A first day in a new job. A long apology. Flowers don't only belong to anniversaries — they belong to the kitchen table.
Pick a bouquet from the collection, tell us roughly what you want to say, and we'll write the card by hand for you.
Tell us the person, the day, and the feeling — we'll find the flowers.— The Flower Box Studio
From a small studio in Walvis Bay, we hand-tie flowers for the city — bouquets for kitchen counters, blooms for first kisses, sprays for last goodbyes. This is who we are, and how we work.
Flower Box was started in a corner of a kitchen, with one pair of scissors, a roll of brown paper, and a quiet conviction that this little port city deserved a different kind of florist. Not a supermarket bundle. Not a wire-stiffened "bouquet." Something hand-tied, something thought-through — a small, soft thing made for a particular person, for a particular day.
Today we work from a studio off the bay, where the dust comes in off the dunes and the air is always faintly salt. We open boxes at dawn — peonies from the cooler, eucalyptus that perfumes the whole room — and we spend the morning building. A bouquet for an apology. An arrangement for the front of a chapel. A long, low table garland for a wedding rehearsal. By the afternoon, our courier is out, and the studio is quiet again.
We've always cared more about the small things than the big things. The way ribbon falls. The right green to set off a blush rose. Whether we've remembered to slip a small note in. These details — and the discipline of doing them every single time — are the whole of the work.
If you've found us, thank you. We'd love to make something for you.
We're not the biggest florist in Walvis Bay. We are, however, the most particular — and these are the rules of the studio.
Every order is built the morning of, from stems we've selected ourselves. Nothing sits in the cooler waiting for an occasion. If we can't source it fresh, we substitute it — and we tell you.
We don't use foam, wire frames, or pre-built bases unless an arrangement specifically calls for one. Every bouquet is bound by hand — which is slower, gentler on the stem, and quietly more beautiful.
You'll get the same care whether your bouquet is N$380 or N$3,800. We don't have a "cheap line" — we have one line, made the same way, scaled to your day and your budget.
